Ok, today I saw a third 'man' wearing fucking ugg boots in public. Why is this? Can they please stop. It means I can't wear my beloved rigger boots anymore in case someone thinks I'm wearing them.

Aren't Ugg boots worn by women and gay men.

Nothing wrong with being gay I hasten to add, just the wearing of Ugg boots if you're not of the female persuasion.

Could they have simply been 'bestest friends' and recently bought boots in a mad girly fashion ?

Ooooh! I saw a young lad in grey joggers and tan UGG's the other day at the petrol station! Gets in to his 'modded' new shape mini, pulls out of the station and ploughs straight into an oncoming Picasso, crushing the passenger, who happened to be a biker on crutches recovering from a broken back.

Moral of the story anyone?

At the Big Chill festival whilst a little the worse for wear I got into one (having seen ugg doing a shit male catwalk promotion) about men wearing uggs not realising that one guy sitting near us was in them, I proceeded upon noticing this fact to tell him that men who wear uggs are somewhere on the line between rapists and paedophiles (showed to him by raising the height of my hand) At the time I thought I was being witty and good humoured, thinking back it must have come across quite aggressive!!

I've just taken a pair off. Embarassed

In my defence I don't wear them outside, they aren't mine and I only wear them when it's cold. They are like uber awesome slippers.

Ugg boots should not be worn by anyone they are in the same category as crocs in my book. A stylish snow boot however is expectable. Not looking like primarks finest.

Clearly! Mr. Green

I have to say I'm mystified as to why anyone would wear Uggs or lookie-likies outside or in public. I understand the inside slippers only brigade, but do folk realise how incredibly unattractive they look in Uggs? Confused (before anyone says who cares, they are billed as a fashion item ie. to make you look good, cool etc. )

Unless you're 6 foot tall and stick thin, they make your legs look all chubby and stumpy. They get all skanky and smelly. Then to top it off they make the wearer walk like a Neanderthal as they drag their feet along......scuff, scuff, scuff! Rolling Eyes

I think it has to be said they are one of the clearest 'fashion victim' items ever to be launched. All I can say is good on the folk that make money out of such sillyness! Thumbs Up

Good point. They are assexual fugly things. I can't understand why anyone would wear them, apart from in the privacy of their own homes (as slippers)

Rigger boots are crap n'all.
As most people have their trousers/overalls tucked in, they become portable rubbish bins.

Slip on style = slip off. Walk through sticky mud ala Glasto and they gone. Very Happy

They don't have strength in the heel area, so when wet n soggy they collapse just like an Ugg boot.

They are the same colour as excrement.

Not all women wear Ugg boots!

They are Ugg-ly and give you trench foot when they get soggy not to mention the damage they do to the arch of your foot. And have you seen how much they cost?!?!? The last time I spent £160 on footwear was when I bought some knee high boots that lace all the way up Twisted Evil

Don't run around a petrol station waving your willy everywhere and slapping your ass to get the attention of young men in furry boots because there's a chance of causing an accident?

thats what duct tape is for, on a dusty site it's better than having the lace up bit get full of shit

Never had that before, and farms have more mud than glasto

There are times when I really miss being up to speed on what is going on 'back home', and then there are times like these.

Boots: walking, biking, or wellies. I cannot see any reason for needing anything else.

I like rigger boot but I prefer my dealer boots.

I'm thinking of getting a pair of ugg boots, they look nice and warm. I also own a pair of crocs.

Fuck anyone who thinks this makes me gay because I really don't give a shit.

I'm manly enough to wear what me, myself and I like without worrying really what others think.
