Hey folks, I bought a nice new cbr this autum, which i love (maybe too much!) to use mostly in the warmer weather. I dont have a car licance and i dont want one either. Im getting fed up of having to either walk, bus or get lifts of m8s. They dont mind helping me but what i need is something which i can get from A to B, mainly to and from work. Can be used in almost any situation i.e Snowy weather so i dont mind if i bin it lol and something cheap.

Im think an off road styled 125cc bike etc is my prime thought. My budget would be around £500 atm but i will extend it if i need to.

Just wondering what you people suggest. And what sort of bike suits my catorgy well.

Hope you guys can help Smile

a CG?

or my favourite a Honda H100S2 2 smoker! with knobby tyres just in case for the winter snow (don't use them cos its not that bad out there!)

Any cheap japan branded commuter would do, i suppose.

Ill sell you my ccm r30 supermoto for 900 or 850,
very light, quite a bit of power being a single cylinder 600, and just handles bad weather with ease. pm me for more details

I don't think an offroader is ideal in winter TBH. Its too tall, and the tyres aren't great for anything other than mud.

Personally I'd look for the cheapest, lightest, lowest bike around which will inevitably be something like an RXS100 or similar.

Why a 125? They attract a premium because learners have to use them.

Something like a KLR250 is worth keeping an eye out for, seen those go fairly cheap.

Up your budget a bit and get a lot more choice I reckon.
But this is just the right time of year to find bargains.
