Corey Taylor is releasing a single called 'X-M@$' to rival Simon Cowell and the X-Factor.... all proceeds go to a cancer charity and if he does get the top spot it means the leech that is Simon Cowell and all he has fallen short again, remember RATM last year? SC has already fired £1m at his XF 'singers' in an attempt to buy it....

He only has a week to do it, and I don't think he will in such a short time and given the number of idiots who watch shite like the X-Factor, but worth a shot!

its like everyone changing their profile pictures atm to "try and stop Child Abuse", fair enough child abuse is a horrid horrid thing which has to be stopped, but just spamming people online for some self-importance and self gratification of having your idea becoming a fad is just silly.

At Christmas if you want a song buy it, thats all that happens with X Factor, 17 million people watch it, and spend a lot of time talking about it, it covers thousands of inches of tabloids and is one of the biggest cultural influences around. Its pretty clear that whoever wins will have a lot of people wanting to buy their song, and going out of your way "just because you dont like it", is pretty sad tbh.

I have no idea at all what's current in the charts at all. I don't listen to mainstream radio, I don't even watch all the usual crap on telly that other people seem to.

I'm usually leaping from dance to rock/metal on the music channels. And recording the stuff I do watch on Freeview to see another day.

My alternative universe is brilliant...I don't feel like I'm missing out... to the contrary in fact...
