Well I was pleased for Mr Shaggy to get a job, but now it`s my turn Smile

Very early this year I did a small pilot scheme for a local college, assessing NVQ`s in local environmental services.
The students all passed and the customer was happy so have asked to do a load more for thier other employee`s Smile .
The college have agreed to that and have taken me on for a year to be the assessor Thumbs Up ..
It sucks having to wait a month for any cash, but at least I have a wage now Smile .

Oh boy!! does it suck, having to get out of bed early in the morning instead of loafing around Shocked .
It`s surprising how lazy you become without even noticing when you have no job to go to....... or is that just me? Laughing

Nice one Thumbs Up

Yes, getting up in the morning is a rude awakening (literally), not to mention sitting at a desk all day when your body is sofa shaped is uncomfortable Smile

Excellent news mate. Was going to mention in Shagworth's thread that I started as a trainee dental nurse for NHS last week after 4.5 years of unemployedness (OK 4 of those years were spent at uni).
Have already had 2 dentists and several nurses ask why I didn't just do dentistry, and have to explain I don't have the attention span. Laughing Loving working again though it all seems very easy for me.

Oi! Mr Muzza, I have a whole mouthful of bad teeth, "canya fix em for me"?.

In the early days of being unemployed, I tried to claim Job-seekers allowance Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad .
The staff at the benifits office were not exactly helpful and tried their hardest to get me doing some really smeggy jobs Evil or Very Mad .

After 13 weeks I told them to shove it up their *rse
