Can anyone name the below connector?

Am looking on RS and CPC for the femal side connector but I'm not having much luck as I expect it has some particular name.
It's similar to a floppy disk power connector but chunkier.

Any ideas?

it is the same design as a fan connector, but it's bigger and has thicker pins.
Though, whats the "official" name for a fan connector?

It's on a power supply I have.

I have discovered that a floppy disk power connector is called a "berg connector"

but this doesnt apply to bigger connectors as in my case Sad

Come on!
Albert needs a better name!

I can't see your pics (all i see is the red X), but it's probably a Molex type connector.

Have a look here:

Although you've said it isn't Molex, I'm not so sure. I was spec-ing this type of connector for a project recently and it looks very much like a Molex 'Friction Lock', part number 26-60-4040. Have a google, see if it measures up....

oooh!
Thankyou Chris!

I thought molex just applied to the type of connector with 4 big pins you use on hard drives etc.

Found the otherpart!

Thanks to all!!!

Molex is just the make- they do hundreds of differents types of connector.

They are terminal housings - you then specify the number of pins and size
