Bike is in regular use. Tis parked on carpet in the garage. Holds air fine.
Both tyres were purchased and fitted at the same time, rear has no problems.

i had the same thing happen on my ninja when i had it. i put it down to heat cycles hardening the tyres as the weather got colder.
they just got harder and harder until they ended up like plastic. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. ive only ever known it on the softer tires.
and they tear like that with not much effort.
