Hi, my brother has a peugeot ludix scooter that needs a new tyre but i cant seem to get the wheel off for some reason.

Its single sided swingarm, Ive undone the nut that holds the wheel on but the wheel is stuck on, does it just need more force or do i need a puller to get it off?

Thanks Ben

with mine I had to remove the exhaust, then it depends on if it is a disk brake or drum, you may need to loosen the brake shoes with the adjuster or if it's a disk take the whole thing off.... although don't quote me on it.

They should come off fairly easily, but I would say it's the brakes stopping it

I've loosened off the drum brake and gave it a few knocks, it wobble but won't come off. It looks like its loose on the spline but seems like there is something stopping It

Laughing Perservere!

It probably has a cotter pin (I think they are called) on it. Surely you would have seen it and taken it off though? Confused

There was nothing visible holding it on and I could be bothered to take apart the other side to have a look so gave up and went to the pub.
