Why call your mum 'old dear'?

It displays a contemptible lack of respect for one of the few people who may ever have a kind feeling for your sorry arse.

Your mum or mother deserves better, especially when she treats you to expensive kit.

Work on this!

HG - Managed by spastics who can't anticipate the popularity of FS365 in their stores and subsequently run out and don't order any more for 2 months......once the worst of winter has gone.

Nobs.

Well you never knew winter was a coming in September?
Or did you just sit on your bottom until the first snow?

FS365 the clue is in the name.

One should never 'run out'.

It can be used for Non Winter too you know.

I'm ALWAYS right even when I'm not. Smile

M&S had a slogan:

The customer is always right. ALWAYS.

Or if you work in retail you will know that the real phrase is:

"The customer is not always right, but there is no money to be made in proving them wrong"

The guys in the branch may have nothing to do with ordering of stock, with my company this is 100% dealt with at head office.

(sorry for the semi hijack)

I'm glad you used the past tense.

Their current slogan is:

The customer is probably a chancing git.

Whereas I found this quite wrong.

The customer is often wrong so if you can show them they are wrong without humiliating them and then offer a discount to show continued good will they often spend more money than they should. Of course some are just obnoxious scum who should be shot but surprisingly less than I ever expected.
