seriously now (honest)
I never get that brave round roundabouts too much muck on roads for such antics
most of my bikes dont corner that well, if anything touches down i worry,
mindyou had use of a serious lowridder triumph with spinger front end, you coould scrape almost anything on that |

You sure its your peg going down and not your toe? Nsr's have low foot pegs anyway compared to the rs and mito.
You best bet is to get some knee sliders and hang off more |

Do your best monkey impression and hang off more, you are better off with your knee on the tarmac than your peg! ____________________ Suzuki RF 600 - The two wheeled Testarossa (Deceased)

The other day I had my mate on the back of my bandit and now the bike look's like it's been chucked down the road. I had my foot peg, Exhaust, Centrestand and my back brake lever on the deck round some roundabouts Is that safe ____________________ WHAT DO YOU MEAN 100 MPH THATS IMPOSSIBLE I STILL HAD 3 GEARS TO GO OFFICER. My old 350 powervalve was fitted with rearsets and raised exhaust brackets but you could still get the spanny chamber and the hero blobs on the road. Never had my knee down though.
Scary if you hit a bump because it lifts the back wheel off the road.
Must get myself another one of those bikes ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

It is perfectly possible to have your bike lent over so far that the pegs are scraping the ground, whilst traveling in a straight line!
On a pushbike i allways used to lean one way then lean the bike the other as far as i could, i would lean over far futher doing that than i could possibly make it by cornering
To corner faster, go faster. this will mean increasing the amount the bike will turn in order to still get around the corner, turning the bars more and hanging off will both make it corner tighter, allowing you to go faster and still get around the corner.
lean angle doesnt equal corner speed!
get the bike a little more upright, turn the bars into the corner a bit more, then hang off, this will have the bike cornering tighter than before, with the weight still shifted into the corner. |
