It also features wwII tanks, but also all sorts of other stuff as its a real time strategy game,

It was orginally a full price game but now they make their money from selling powerups for use in game.

The 'normal' tanks and tank destroyers can be played in-tank, the artillery get a top down view instead.

It is still in Beta but it's pretty well polished, there are still some bugs that need working out but it's well playable.

There's going to be an account reset this month, you'll lose all your tanks & crew but will get back all the XP and cash that you've earned so you can have a go at a different part of the tech tree.

Came up saying 30 mins to download mine and I had it in a few minutes. Methinks that its a little missleading. I've a few things to do at home before sitting down to install but the pink one has been registered.

Result!

Logged in, joined a game and died 2 minutes later. Nowhere does it say how to move the tank so for everyone playing

WASD seem to be the movement keys with the mouse to fire and aim. According to the website there is an auto aim button with the right click, not that I had a chance to use it.

Agreed on that point. Great game but the lack of info is letting it down somewhat.

There is a forum that has more info on it for new players but again its not very detailed.

I've just had another few rounds and the team I was in won. I pointed at the red blobs on screen and randomly fired but I dont think I contributed at all really. But I never died twice so thats a vast improvement!

use the mouse to aim go into sniper mode using the mouse wheel.
Wait for the outer ring to close up for maximum accuracy.

Kill them before they kill you Thumbs Up

Use xp earned to train you tank crew buy more tanks and upgrade you tanks.

Another good way is hiding. If they cant find you they cant shoot you to death and with the new players the tanks we get are worse than useless.

Your relying on pot luck whether the team your in wins or loses. Either way you get experience to upgrade it seems. Just more if the team wins.

I've been playing on and off all day and I'm starting to really enjoy it. Been running around in the russian starter tank and I've researched and upgraded as much as I can with the thing. Even got me a few kills. Been killed by a friendly too! Bastard!

Not sure how to change tanks yet. I know I have 3 that I can change about but not sure how I go about buying new tanks.
