RS125 Help!

Hi all
Just bought an rs125 06 model but just registered on a 60 plate, was riding home today through town in traffic and she completely died, pulled over and eventually managed to start again but would not rev over 5k, would not idle and total lack of power. Just managed to get home, the bike is still restricted and done 54 miles!. Covered under warranty but the dealer is 15 miles away and i dont really wanna risk riding it there for it to die again. I'm thinking poss spark plug oiled up? Any help/advice much appreciated

Deffo go back to dealer...that way it should be done proffesionally and wont leave you worrying....was it the bike wouldnt get to 5k or whe it did it began to die...?

It would only rev to 5k max, as soon as i let of the throttle engine died no idle at all. But... tried it this morning fired up first time and rode to work fine although took it easy and its only a 5 min ride, just rode it home now and it goes like fuck?? Think i'll get onto the dealer though still as i was planning a ride out this w/end(if the snow stays away) and dont want it goin bang in the middle of nowhere

It's only done 54miles... have you bothered running it in smoothly?

yeh course, i warm it through properly before going anywhere and take it easy for first 10 mins or so of riding even after that i don't nail it everywhere because its still being run in until first service. Cut out again tonite this time just waited for a minute and tried it and started up and revved freely?? then i fell off haha, bak to dealers thursday anyway, thanks for replies
