right then, went out to get my bike sorted as i got pulled on saturday night for rear light a number plate illeagable, came back dropped the note in at police station then went back to the bike tried starting it, didnt start, i kept trying and eventually it fired up, then about a mile later it just lost all power and died coming upto a round about, tried kicking it into life, no luck, so pushed it to a safe place took spark plug out looked a bit oiled so i swapped plugs it fired up but then died after about 4seconds on tick over, so i then took the plug out to make sure it was sparking and it was put plug back in no joy, am i correct in thinking this is a feuling problem?

possible... If you can this is the trick I used to use...

spark plu clean and hot if possible, and get a clean cloth, dip it in your gas tank then went moist put it in your air filter or damn close to you air intake and kick her over.... lets read the results
