Well. For Christmas i've asked for a lid so me and my dad went to the local bike shop and there was some proper nice lids there, i gotta say. But i immediately saw this one and i like fell for it. even though i was looking around at different ones, i liked this the most. Well i didn't want to spend too much on a lid because my bikes a lil pricey so yeah. I thought i'd tell you cus i'm really excited! Very Happy Very Happy

Here's some pics:

Might sound silly, but did you pick it purely on looks or was it a good fit too?

my mates got 2 box lids and also a arai and a nolan.. he cant fault the box ones and uses them for day to day riding.the only thing he like more about the more pricey ones he has is the padding is softer/comfortable..

I had a box for my first lid and can't fault it. Got a Caberg now which suites my needs for the daily commute as the flip up makes life easier.

Cant see myself ever shelling out for a 300-400 lid.

I've had a BX-1 since I started riding in March. I've managed to scuff up the really thin paint (mine is black) from general school-boy errors, but it's not been dropped so I'm happy to keep using it. I can't compare it to anything else, but other than the loud wind noise and the fact the visor steams up very easily it's been pretty solid. I also much prefer the chin strap 'clip' thing over the double-loop arrangement you get on more expensive lids.

My old Gilera, speedo didn't work, barely pushed 40, milage stopped at 7k so god knows how much it had done.

But it never stopped, was like a tank, just kept going.

My dna was a monster did about 55 down hill tops ....when it got wet it was really slow and acceleration was poor...once i even got stuck at lights and nearly rolled backwards...had to pull to the side and get max rev's preparing for when the lights changed again but when its a nice hot day it ran like a treat tbh like really well....it never broke down once! only probly was my area isnt very good and it got stolen i then got it back and it got stolen when it was chained tp a post! with a very good chain....so i dont ave much hope of seeing it again but i would recomend the bike looks better than a moped and will beat most of them in a race ....gives you that bit more experience on corners too...honestly though it never broke never stopped working not once. plus i used to drive it as fast as i could allllll the time never gave it a break used it everyday for more han two hours easily

Good idea to have a spare, my spare are due to being given to me or falling in love with a leather matching beaut ... when you have a fall its good to be able to grab another on the fly.

Great plan - just be sure to have a good moan when your local bike shop closes down due to lack of sales.

I know I (all of us) should support local shops but the price difference was huge.
They want £120, ebay wants 75 pounds posted.

It has 4 sharp stars, it's a solid full face (no flip nonsense to break) and it apparently fits properly.

If it fits properly then I don't see the issue.
