Misc you may be of help here! Very Happy

My B1 Has a full Akrapovic system on it and to be honest I'm a little disappointed with the sound. It sound pretty nice when giving it the beans but it's just too quiet Laughing Riding the Monster felt like I was being followed by thunder!

I want to know if I can change the end can for the Mivv GP (Which I was going to get if the bike had a stock can on) but keep the front part of the Akra system?

Also anyone on here have/had a B1 with a Mivv GP?

Here is the GP: https://www.mivv.it/risorse/2/436/514/K009L2Sb.jpg

Suono looks good too: https://www.mivv.it/risorse/2/436/514/K009L7_b.jpg

Until you see the side Laughing https://www.mivv.it/risorse/2/436/514/K009L7_a.jpg

Dreams shattered Crying or Very sad

Looking at it I don't think the end can comes off on the Akra system, I think it's one piece ???

What is the Akra end can made of?

If its noise you are after and the can is carbon, go for a metal (ssteel/Ti etc) as the carbon in the end can absorbs some of the sound.

I had a carbon one on my 7 for the opposite reasons to you.

It's Carbon but surely it doesn't make that much difference?

I always thought the Akra's sounded nice.

Not too loud when your going slow, but noisy when your having a hoon.

Come on Racer youve went from a grumbly V-twin to a whiney IL4 it was never going to live up to the noise! Smile Ive got twin Akras on my RSV and I doubt the noise of an inline 4 will ever cut it again! Its a price you pay for smoothness and a livlier top end bud!

Anyway as always I'll say Im a big fan of 'do what makes you happy' so if its possible and you want to do it then get stuck in, its only money!

True Thumbs Up

The Racefit might be a bit OTT and also I haven't checked but aren't they £££

Money wise I could get a bit back from selling the Akra end can. Any idea how much it would be worth?

I'll be honest dude I dont know what the GP's are! I just know my Akras are slightly designed for my bike, they sound funkin awesome and someone else paid the 700 odd snonkeybats for them!

As far as the GP's go I am at a jynction where I cant personally justify two new loud exhausts to replace the stuidly loud ones I have already!

Like I said, be happy!

I think I'm going to give it a miss for now as it will be stupid to blow £200 for no real reason but if one comes up cheap on flea bay then....

It probably is, if I did go for it I'd keep the front part of the akra system and sell the end can. That way I'd still have the full system

Anyone know how much the carbon akra can would sell for? It's the type without the baffle
