Measured 185 at the wheel on the imported ones with the fully functioning exup valve and higher compression than uk bikes.

Stupid questions deserve stupid answers

Yep. Only thing missing is the stage 2 race tuning kit. I have both iridum plugs and K&n air filter on the old gixxer and after the last owner added the race tuning the dynamo machine broke down with a flashing message that just read "To Much Power"

Seriously though. Where do these idiots get their facts from?

I had to ask....

pinky on egay wrote:
You've stated in your description that the bike has 200bhp. Can you explain where you get this figure as the factory figure is only 45bhp. Thats an increase of 155bhp.

Do you also have proof of this?

Will keep you posted if he replies

Well thinking about it, an aprilia rx125 is something like 34bhp. Why wouldn't a 600 be about 50bhp? My friends zxr thing is 400cc and got to be about 50bhp at least.

Never looked up the bhp for a yammy 600 but i dont see why not.

Well, the Aprilia, I'm pretty sure isn't 34hp. Your friends water cooled inline 4 sports bike probably is over 50hp.
This air cooled old-design single probably isn't 50hp, even after a few tweaks.

However, that's rather missing the point as if you'd read the first few posts you'd have seen it did say 200hp or something Smile.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

They are low geared and they don't rev any where as near high as an R1.

They are good fun, but flat out you will be hitting close too 100 mph. the fun is off road and keeping the front wheel down. Thumbs Up

https://www.maxmoto.co.uk/new_bikes.shtml#rx125

according to their site, it says 29bhp or there's a 33bhp model for a bit more. Wink

Must of missed the 200bhp in the text, i remember giving it a quick read but didn't see it. Maybe it got removed.

Fair enough. I was merely guessing, Just going by the fact that its still 600cc's to play with.

And the RS50 has 12hp, but only does 'up to' 60mph Laughing.

And yes, it DID say 200hp but has been edited.

And stick a decent turbo system on a 600cc 4 cylinder bike and you probably COULD get 200hp or so.
Find an older design not intended to make lots of power and it could easily be mid 20s. CC doesn't mean that much, really.

The Americans proove that with their 18.5 litre engines that produce 30 odd bhp (slight exaggeration Wink )

Ooo I like those, I had one of them in 2003, maybe a slightly older version. It was fab. I took it across the Channel to Belgium (Kierkwossname) on a fag run, top box fulla fags and back again, good enough for me.

Only annoying thing about it was that it made a beeping noise when your indicators were on.

It had potential to be a great little bike, that one Wub
But it got stolen within 2-3 weeks of me buying it Crying or Very sad
