Budget £20-£25 max

Not much I know but I want some full size over ear nice headphones. I know decent ones cost hundreds but what is the best I can get for this money?

I mean full over ear ones, not the half arsed ones which make your ear ache after 30 minutes.

Ever so slightly over budget but my "in the house" headphones are the (silly name) Creative 'Fatal1ty' things. Very happy with the sound quality and the optional mic is useful for me for both skype and language learning software. Had them a year or two now and still going strong.

You used those mdr xd200's? Are they good?

Those creatives are going for £40+ on ebay.

I am going into town tomorrow and if I don't see anything on offer I will get something online. Those mdr's look good but I want to make sure before buying them.

Paid £12 for mine in PC world as a half price special iirc, cheapest in that link was about £26 wasn't it? Still, depends what you want them for I suppose. You'll probably have much trouble finding anything decent in that price bracket in a bricks and mortar frontage unless you get lucky with the "sales".

Yes, they're more then fine. Just ordered a 2nd pair as the missus has nicked mine. You won't get better for £14. I've been using them for years. My last pair had the cord cut by the pc chair running over the wire again and again. Laughing

Ah yes I see. A possibility if I don't find anything.

People on tinterweb seem to think the mdr xd200 is very good value for money so I will see if I can haggle a set for cheap in town.
