Hey guys and girls,

Just joined these forums, and i've just passed my test !

After much thought i went for the goose 350 instead of a trail bike as i ride road more,

I got a quick test ride on it before i brought it, but it was in a 30mph area, seemed very nice but i'm not used to the 4stroke's as i've had a 2 stroke trail upbringing Twisted Evil

Has anyone test ridden one, or own a goose 350, how do they ride, acceleration and top speed,

The one i bought has been converted to single seat, and has a really nice yoshimura can on it!

Alex

nice bike, if a little uncomfortable, and impractical for distance

i had a bros, which is the goose's sensible twin brother

enjoy it

I have one. Quite nice, hard to wheely. Handles imaculately, brilliant acceleration but crap top end (95-100mph - 150-160kph). That said you can keep it going all through corners.

The do about 160 km from full to reserve. Dont over inflate the rear tyre or you WILL wheelspin alot, 32 seems to be a good figure.

As for wheelies, two up they are piss but hard to balance, on your own, sit RIGHT back in the seat, roll in first at about 20mph clutch in, fistful, and dump it, then control from there. But unless you have gone into the fuel from full by about 100-120 km it dont seem to work (with my fat arse anyway).

Major good point of the goose is traffic tho. Goes through it like a legend cos if you tuck around it properly its about half a metre wide. Im not gonna boast as everyone hates it, btu on the goose, you can go very fast relatively safely through it.

Enjoy the bike. Oh and dont get carried away in 30's Crying or Very sad

Haha 120... thats just precious. Lucky if you get 110 tucked in.

And acceleration.... its natty. Very Happy Dont expect to skidmark your pants when you rip back the throttle... but that said it certainly leaves cars standing off the lights. And ive raced impretzas etc, all you get is out of corners your intitial rideout will demolish them for about 40 yard, then they will cain past you. However if you are behind a car in a 40 say, and you match speed without being too close, wait a bit until a safe point, drop down a gear and dump the clutch with a fair bit of throttle you will get past them very quickly, altho dont do that in the wrong order, little bits of wheelspin/wheelfloats mid overtake from dropping down to quickly really will wake you up.

Oh and as for my experience in 30s... go to the fights and flames section and click on the thread named 'meh... fuck it etc'. That will explain all, and also how little other members like speeding.
