Anyone advise if the MCN or Ride magazines are up to much from the point of getting a subscription?

Ride sometimes give goodies with a subscription. Don't know about MCN though.

RiDE has been crap for months and months.

Bike is good, but probably an acquired taste.

Classic Motorcycle Mechanics... that is where its at!

MCN = More Crap Than News.

Performance bikes is pretty good, but it has dipped in recent months. It'll probably get better as the warmer weather returns.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I had Ride for over a year, yeah, its ok, some interesting articles, some not, reviews handy, some thing to read over the month till the next one comes. And if time right can normally get something decent\handy for taking out the subscription.

So not bad in my view.

I don't read bike mags anymore. Most of them are very samey. PB was ok for a bit, but after a while gets a little boring. Haven't bought a bike mag for nearly a near now. Used to read 4/5 a month.

I read Bike mag and they offer some good stuff for subscriptions. I think it's worth it to subscribe just so I don't have to go to the shop to pick it up.

I dont see the point in buying bike mags since the invention of the interweb thingy. Anything I want to find out about bikes I can probably find online.

My landlord picks up the Motorcyle Monthly newspaper for me, but it's free. It's the only one I read and feel it's worth reading. Thumbs Up

It's good, but the magazine is very thin.

I read MCN because I get it for free. Why would anyone pay to read something that you can read online?
