New bike service?

I'm on the verge of buying my new bike (Kawasaki Z750) brand spanking new from a dealer. I'm trying to think of all costs (bike, insurance, any new kit) and just wondered who pays for the bike's first service (the one at 600 miles)?

Also, will there be more services soon after that?

If it will be me, how much will it be?

The first service is very basic so won't cost much at all. You should be able to bargain with the dealer and get it thrown in for free.

The next service will be at 4000 or 5000 miles, speak to the dealer for the exact figure.

First service with the dealer is usually free as McJam said, you normally pay for the consumables such as oil, usually less than £20.

My second service on the Blade was at 4K miles and was between £85-90.

My first one on the Fazer was Labour free, all I had to pay for was consumables (Oil filter and oil etc) But it only came about 25 quid if I remember correctly (without going in search of the kept receipt!)

The 1st service is included in the cost of your new bike but has to be done by the supplying dealer, the only cost will be consumables which is about £20.
The next service is due at 4,000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first and can be done at any authorised dealer. I would recommend following the service schedule for the first 2 years so as not to invalidate the warranty.
Costs for a service on that bike average £180 depending on each dealer's labour charge
