WTF?

Pretty sure its 10 for mod 2 and 5 for mod 1... atleast around that.

If you passed mod 1 dont worry about any minors you already have, you have a set number for mod 2 regardless of what you get in the first test.

That's a good question. It used to be 15 minors on the combined test, but making the same category of mistake 4 times (if I remember correctly) was a fail, i.e. 4 late observations or 4 uncancelled indicators was a fail, even if you didn't have any other minors.

I can't find a definitive source for the new Mod 2 test though, either the total or the maximum number per category.

But what are you planning to do, try to keep track of them in your head, and give up if you think you've failed?

The easy answer is: loads, don't worry about it. Remember, the examiner is following on a bike (or if he's a soft ponce, a car) - it's not like he's able to mark them off accurately as you go. In practice, he's going to going to remember a couple of faults, decide if you've passed or failed, then mark up your test to fit the decision.

So just ride a good confident ride, don't make another road user take avoiding action, or tell the examiner he's riding a girl's bike, and you're golden.

I think it's still about that number for the mod 2 roger.

Max per category is 3 or 4... Again, don't quote me on that.

You'll probably do something that you think is a major, you'll get pissy for a second, then you'll chill out for the rest of the run and figure out that "major" was a minor, and pass.

So good luck!

I spent a good 3 minutes reading the first two post as I got really confused Shocked

I think it like the car test, so it should be 15 minors, but don't quote me on that.

Best thing to do is try and get none.... think ahead and plan your next move

13 so far as I know.

If you get more than 3 minors you're a massive poofter though Laughing Laughing

It is 5 on mod 1 and 10 on mod 2.

100% that is correct.

Or if you have too many minors on one particular part such as observation then you're also done. Am not sure how many on that though, maybe 3 or 4.

5 on Mod 1

10 on Mod 2

Cannot make the same mistake more than 3 times. I.e you will fail if you forget to indicate where required to do so 3 times.

Hope that helps.
