Hi i live in leeds,west yorkshire and was wondering if anyone on this site knows any clubs which have regular meet ups and is still running as a few ive checked out on the net was last posted in 2007/08.. As i want to go on rallys and ride outs on my rd125lc

i live nowhere near you but check the regional section of BCF? there's one for your area and it cant be more dead than the wales section haha.

I too wonder if anyone does meet ups on this site. Mainly muddy bikes in the south east here.

There was the great lakeside meetup of November 2010 for us southeasters (all two of us)

Minh ever been to the ace, don't they do a biker thing every Friday or something? Might not be busy this time of year but I would be up for it anyway and even more in the summer.

In fact there is a bike night on the 28th Jan at the ace, I am supposed to be busy but I have a feeling my plans will fall through.

May be worth organising something for us lot around here, first south-east road riders meet up of the year type thing.

get up to Squires in Sherburn in Elmet, plenty of info about clubs and rallys there on the notice boards.

I know they ain`t exactly in west yourshire.
but along with Squires, take a look at The SUN INN up at Norwood, not far from the "golf balls" the roads around there are brilliant to ride around. Theres also a cracking cafe in otley where bikers stop off for a brew.
As previously stated by OGR MAG hold (weekly/monthly) bike meets around the area. Which could get you a foothold take a look at there website for contact details of various local groups.
Also if your considering looking at attending a few biker events, take a look at the EAST LEEDS LIONS & their easter rally, which is usually a laugh & held in "Emerdale country" up near Eccup. There will be a lot of local clubs attending, which would give you chance to find out more info and party for a weeekend. Though depending on if easter falls slightly earlier in the year it can be touch chilly, as it has been know to snow during the event.
Other rallies held within 10-40 miles inc:
The Barnsley bike show
The yorkshire rock and bike show (held at squires)
The wobbly Goolies rally - run by Goole town bikers (held at West Cowick nr Snaith) a few miles east of Ferrybridge services

Rivington barn, Horwich. every night at the lower barn once it gets warmer and every sunday big meets at the upper barn about 45-55 miles from you. about an hour to leeds from horwich.
