While playing on the Kinect earlier, a Red tint has magically appeared Sad Is this a GPU fault on the way to a RRoD error?

Will an X-Clamp repair fix this?

According to this the screen will turn black after a while, there does seem to be a quick fix.

As the above post states, could be progressing towards an e74 error - is it just a red tint, does the Xbox freeze up?

If it's out of warranty I'd do an xclamp fix now and you might get away with it.

About 3 weeks out of warranty Rolling Eyes It's just a red tint, no other issues

My bad. I remember a few years back when I got my first RRoD that for a few hours before it finally died I would get strange grapical errors and artifacts appearing on the screen.

I guess its just a waiting game to see what happens mate.

Yeah that's how it starts, I'd give it 2 weeks tops before it's either red ringing or at least crashing regularly, which is annoying when your kicking ass on MW2 (made worse by that being a rare occurence for me!).

I had the same, lasted a week before it died.

Stopped me completing Mass Effect, stupid Xbox. I might have to console myself with Mass Effect 2 now it's on PS3 Smile
