Electric start not working please help

54 PLATE - Aerox 50, which starts first time and runs fine on kick start, but electric start does not work. Makes a small click noise (like a relay) but does not turn engine.

Battery - either dead or a bad connection.

Thanks for the replies, but i have had the battery on charge optimate and is full charged, so not sure,

its ur starter motor i had the exact same problem with my dna. take it off open it up and ull find its got rubbish and mud inside and its seized (not turning) u can try clean it up and clean the brushes up and regrease everything or u can pick up a second hand starter motor cheap from ebay
