I'm back to the forums once again haha.

Okay getting straight to the point. For some of you who already know i sold that piece of crap for £300 and gradually I've been saving up.

So now my question, what bike would be perfect for me, I'm not really into the Rs 125 generally the super bike types for some reason but I'm into the Super motors (SM's).

But also this need to be fairly cheap on insurance since I'm tight with money lately.

I was quoted on UK prov for a Skyteam 125 at £228 which is not to bad.

DO NOT BUY A SKYTEAM

One of my friends had one. Forks are pitted, tyres have no grip, nearly all of the bolts vibrated out and had to be replaced, frame rusted, clocks fell off and the gear lever flapped in the wind.

I'm 100% serious. Buy something from a reputable brand.

Personally i want a 125, My most powerful bike would be 200, but i'd like a abit of speed to and from work. Would you be able to say that 125 insurance is fairly cheap?. Cause i don't really want to spend so much every year.

I wouldn't be seen dead riding any Chinese-branded offroad-stylee bike. Or rather, I'd likely be found dead in a ditch next to a wreck with a snapped frame, detached rear sprocket and buckled wheels.

For context, I'm an admin on a Chinese-branded bike forum, and I usually try to keep some perspective. But I can't recall ever reading anything good about any Chinese-branded offroad-stylee bike, ever, anywhere.

could look at Yamaha XT125X not sure how much insurance would be or cost of bike

Yamaha XT 125: £305.12 yearly.
Yamaha DT 125: £305.12 yearly.

Honda XR 125: £326.65 yearly.

Aprilia MX 125: £326.65 yearly.
Aprilia RX SM 50: £215.81 yearly.

So i'm not sure what to get.. It's so close when it comes to insurance prices.

Don't worry a secure garage, What ever it's called that's drilled into the ground to chain it up.. And disk break locks, so should be all good . Might as well fit a CCTV camera in there while im at it .

But because all the insurances are so close together what bike do i go for..?.

It's registered as S.O.R.N.. What does this mean?.

They are good bikes, SORN mean it is signed off the road, so it will need road tax (£15 I think).

So just get Tax and it will be alright then?. But do you think thats a good buy?. I also found a Aprilia 125 as well.

It needs an MOT and road tax.

They are good bikes. It will depend on what the final price is, whether it is a good deal.

I would check it out before bidding on it.
