That is crap, I can do more than that on either my bandit or the XT.

It does depend on how you ride, but even screaming the living shit out of it, you should be getting over 100 miles to £10 of petrol.

kev205 - u gonna get a different answer from everyone on here ...

i got a kmx125 an it does about 65 mpg ish ... an that ridden pretty hard

got a sm610 an it does bout 40mpg an my crm250 does about 30mpg

depends how it set up an how u ride it.

30 mpg cud b normal if u ride it hard an the set up not perfect ... used to hav a dt125 that was like that maybe even worse.

wudnt worry bout it - unless it hurtin u in the pocket wiv fuel cost goin up n up

Would expect FAR better than that. Not really done many miles on an NSR, but for comparison my RS125 over a couple of year (I was bored and recorded the mileage and fuel from all the bikes and cars) managed 55mpg average, and even at worst when thrashed a lot no less than 50mpg.

All the best

I hate to say it but the NSR can drink a lot of fuel for a 125, but thats only if you thrash it hard!
(That being said, i'v never known anything < 45-50 accept when the power valve was pinned and the only place there was power was the powerband!)

On the bright side,
Keep out of the power band (powervalve closed) and you can get a swish 70-80 mpg Very Happy

Only downside is with stock gearing thats a mean a steady 55'ish mph max, slow accelerating and all that jib.

You'll feel like a tw*t but think about all the fuel you'r saving Very Happy

That being said my NSR is going to be rebuilt as soon as i get my old bag'o crap 125 4strke sorted out Very Happy

a bajillion MPG Very Happy

My NSR was very costly to keep running. Fuel prices costs about 80p/l back then. Would hate to know how much it would cost at today's prices!
