Hey there all.
So i found out the horrid vibration was my rear wheel bearings are shot to hell...
Due to uni commitments i'll be doing the swap in a couple of days but got the bearings this morning and they dont seem to be the same size...

The left (i think?!) is a couple of mil smaller (OD) than the right.

Does this sound right?
I dont want to get the wheel apart and bearings out only to find i have to wait 3-4 more days with the bike exposed (nowhere indoors to do the job).

anyhow,
any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Best regards

-Jvr

Ps, wemoto half win, bearings ordered at 2pm yesterday, here <12 today heh.

I'm not shocked into thinking it is a mistake, I could well believe they are different sizes considering it isn't symmetrical. However I have never noticed any of my bikes to have had different sized bearings Whip the rear wheel off, it will only take a few mins.

Not unusual for them to be different sizes.

There is usually a third bearing in the sprocket carrier. If the two in the wheel have gone, that one won't be far behind them.

Think the R6 had three different sizes across the rear spindle!

All three on the GS are different OD sizes. I'd be more concerned if the ID were different. Laughing

I just replaced the two in my bike rear wheel... Both different also. But worth doing a quick check on google if you don't feel confident.
