I dont know about being born into a family with no father but when I was 12 my parents split up and I went to live with my mother and sister. I dont think it effected me in any way. I grew up to be a normal bloke.

See. perfectly normal!

There are some things in life that are a pure mystery to me. The extreme 'camp' voice is one of them. Its obviously linked to being a homosexist ,but I can never get my head round why because you want to stroke the old flesh baton means you develop a bizzarre voice and limp wristedness mannerisms.
Is it all an act? ?
Theres plenty of gay people who you would never know are gay, like that rugby player fella, because hes big and nasty loooking and doesnt speak with a funny voice or prance around like a 9 yr old girl, so whats it all about???
Im not a homophobist in any way by the way, just curious (not in a homosexist way).

I think you are confusing camp and feminine.
I know men that are feminine (some from this forum ) .... but they dont go round like Duncan Norville.
I also know some gayers ... and they dont mince about either.
It has always been something that I am suspicious of ... the overly camp mannerisms.
Its an act... hiding something .. fake and devious. ____________________ There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffa tape.

Is it possible that a boy, born into a family with no Father, or any other male influence, might start talking camp - not necessarily gay - but a bit iffeminate. ie; directly as a result of living in a female only environment? In other words, if that same boy had grown up with both male and female influences, he would end up not camp?
I would have thought that maybe the boy might pick up the mannerisms and certain behaviour from the women around him. |
No.
My friend's mum died when he was a child, and he grew up with his dad + brothers - He's gay.
Every person has millions of influencing factors in who they become and grow into, and being raised by a single person doesn't make that much difference, EG - a single parent can discaplin a child just as well as 2x parents can. It depends where they live, who their friends are, what they watch on tv, what they see on the internet (god help any child that see's nobcat) how they are treat at school peer pressure etc, way too many factors to generalise and say "brought up with women so much have caught the ghay".

Yes, i worked at at delivery office where a new chap started to work, he had a wedding ring on but we all thought he was bent as a ten bob note, after a while some of the lads got chatting to him, turns out he was raised by his mum and his aunt and had little male contact apart from school and when outside. he was very iffeminate, so in my opinion yes it can happen, now i wonder what will happen to the mind of the child elton john bought when he sees blokes goin at it , no way can you tell me that it wont affect him when he s growing up, and before you say he shouldnt be able to see, most parents either get caught or near enough or the kids may say they heard things last night, kids are not stupid, they are just young.

So why don't you go ahead and show us why you feel gay couples will fcuk in front of their children, while straight couples will not.
