At least we are on the way out though!

Oh, Unlucky!
Puttin the bike out in a bit, gunna leave it in the sun for a while.
Made these out of a scarf to keep the chill off. As long as you keep the wind it's a lot better up to a point.

Lots of winter left yet.

Not as cold this morning as the last two have been though.

January and February are usually the worst months for snow and frost.

Winter ain't over until March is out.

Yeah, 5 Degree or just over seems to be just about bearable up to about 10 miles.
10 Degree or more is great.

I have always disagreed with traditional British seasons.

Quote:
In Britain, people traditionally say that the seasons begin about seven weeks earlier: spring begins on Candlemas (February 2), summer on May Day (May 1), autumn on Lammas (August 1), and winter on All Hallows (November 1). The Irish calendar is similar, but Spring begins on February 1.

I always think they should be a month later than that. So Spring would be March - May, Summer would be June - August, Autumn Sept - November, and Winter December to February...

Tis rather cold again mind.

Its sunny down here but cold. Its so cold that my gas cant heat the water enough as apparently as its freezing coming from reservoir . So my water isnt that hot now Confused That big freeze messed up loads here! pipes bust , boilers on the blink, parts of building and garden ornaments fell down. I liked the snow but not after what its done here. Neutral

Unlucky, coldest December on record apparently.
I don't buy this global warming business, we caught them at it creating another tax, they then stepped back into the shadows whispering plausible corporate deniability.
Good idea the carbon and to get us to all recycle, they just went round in a bad way.
You can fool the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time!

Roughly every few hundred, every few thousand and every 100 thousand years we get systematic climate change as a result of temporary axis wobbles, and even more severe major shifts with the earth axis. 420 thousand years of climate change evidence right here.

Have you watched the movie 2012.
It's all about this and will one day come true, but not this time around.

I don't use dates personally.

Spring - Starts when I see the first daffodil in flower.
Summer - Starts when you see 30 degrees C on the weather for the first time.
Autumn - Starts when the leaves start falling and you see the first Atlantic gales roll in.
Winter - Well to be honest it's a bit meh, not really much different to Autumn, I suppose the first "proper" frost; i.e below -2 degrees.

Aye it happens every year. Its not to my taste this cold, but its not as bad as some people make out.

What does fuck me of is people who moan its too hot when its 25 degrees during the summer. Get a grip, thats not ht, that is pleasant Smile

The bbc weather site says it's 3°c here, well the water from washing the bike down turned to ice and I found that my boots have zero grip on that Laughing

On the up side, the SV's coolant pipes are nicely positioned for hand warming on the move Thumbs Up
