Currently I have a CBF125 (I own it - haven't ridden it since Nov 25 due to warranty issues....Grrrrrrrrrrr!)

Next bike, almost certainly a Triumph Scrambler, it just ticks every box for me. I'm certain (I know) there are better bikes for the money, but I just really like it. I talked myself out of a sports bike and a trail bike (did like the 848 and the stupidly huge R1200) because I don't need the speed and performance and because I'm not due to go off round the world anytime soon.

At the moment, Bandit 12, as a track bike, and a Hayabusa, but thinking of using it only on the drag strip.

Next, a twin of some flipping type, as a commuter and fun bike.

Triumph Street Triple R - I've found biking heaven but if I was going to 'invest' some more money in a bike in the not so distant future it would have to be...

https://www.pnwfx.net/photos/434862617_Wu9aM-L.jpg

Shame it's the best part of 9K for a used example.. But weighing in at 169kg with 155bhp it has the performance to back up those looks.

Back on topic are we talking realistic changes or wishful thinking?

Current is 6R B1H

I would like: 848Evo/1098/Streetfighter

More realistic in about a year or so: Daytona 675/749/999

One of them Laughing

I currently have:-

Suzuki DRZ400E - up and running.
Honda CBR600fn - waiting on parts.
Honda NSR250 (MC16) - waiting for the weather to warm up.
Yamaha RZR250R - in bits pending rebuild.

However there is a rather nice one of these in my local bike shop, six thousand miles on the clock, looks to be in excellent nick as well.
if it's still there in a couple of months I may make it mine.
mwahahaha! Cool

Have CBR600f 2001.

Future....

Hmm, I change my mind all the time but ideally I'd like two.

First would be the commuter, something a bit slow and cheap to run (CB500,CG125,CB250 or some other cheapo).

Other bike would be soemthing like a 600RR, ZX-6R C1H or GSXR600/750.

Failing that, I might get something in the middle of the two and get a naked 600 or keep the bike I have.

Presently I have a 1991 GSXR 750 and a 1998 VTR firestorm.

For the future I havent a clue. I intend to keep the Storm got a bit and I'll stick with V Twins so my next bike may be a Duke.

Currently I have a Buell XB12S Lightning, a Yamaha RD350YPVS and an MZ ETZ301 Saxon fun.

I don't want to replace the Buell, but if I did it would probably be for a Triumph Street Triple R.

The RD is also a keeper, but I am tempted to buy a Mito with a blown engine to build a 350 Mito maybe.

The MZ is probably the first bike I'd sell if I had to sell a bike, but every time I go to do it, it throws some sort of wobbler that means no one would want it. I think it likes me!

I would also like a track bike and have been thinking ZXR400 but actually when you can buy a nice light powerful 600 for £1500 that will be better all round, it seems like a waste of cash. When the Mrs finally qualifies as a midwife and gets a job, I suspect I'll buy a trackbike and probably stick with the four bikes.

Things may change if I test ride a Street Triple R and find it to be better than the Buell, but I'm not sure how likely that is!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Hi

Fair few bikes between those that get used, those for occasional use and those to be rebuilt.

Next bike to be used will probably be a 'busa.

Next bike for occasional use will probably be an RD350YPVS (fully faired in blue).

Too many bikes to rebuild to even think about another of those.

All the best

Keith
