Does anyone know how to change the icons on a Desire?

Could also do with some links to some sites to get some icons if anyone knows of any decent places! Found a few so far.

Ideally free, or pretty cheap! Sadly I can't link my phone to my laptop as its a Mac and doesn't work, so needs to be something from the Market I think.

Thanks!

Dug a bit up for you,

Folder Organiser lite is free and allows you to change the icons for labels/apps/bookmarks etc.

There are lots of free icon packs on the market
https://dryicons.com/
https://www.iconfinder.com/browse/popular
https://findicons.com/pack

BetterCut..... Is a paid app, but allows you to create shortcuts to almost anything - apps, calls, texts, etc. Using an Icon Pack, you can then select new icons for these shortcuts, and also rename them.

I've never tried the apps from the market, but i believe they only create shortcuts to the apps.

You can change the icon within the app but you need to pull it from your phone via ADB and de-compress, change the .9.png icon in the framework, re-compile, re-sign and then push it back to your phone.

Cheers! Seems a bit long winded lol.

Found a app called 'ADW Launcher EX', had to pay for it, but well worth it! Does everything that I needed.

Meh, should of got launcher pro (free version, that PM'd me on how to unlock it Razz)

LP is far better than ADW imo anyway but each to their own Smile

LP does allow you to select icons from your gallery for apps, i have a folder with a fuckload of icons (albeit they are all in 1 style). Not sure if ADW allows you to aswell.

Love Launcher Pro Plus myself too Smile Can't do without the scrolling docks at the bottom. Even when I use phones with Sense UI, LPP goes on straight away Smile
