If this is a repost I apologise. But I've just been told of the story so its new too me. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3361279/Prem-ace-Pennant-forgot-his-Porsche.html ..... I don't forget if I've got a fiver in my jeans pocket upstairs, let alone left a fucking porche at a train station. How do you turn up too your location and then get a completely different mode of transport back, without noticing something isn't quite the same. So I'm guessing my question is, do all these over paid knobheads hand in their brain cells when they pick up their first pair of boots?

Hardly idiots!!! Talented enough to be able to get paid for kicking a ball around a pitch. I wouldn't call that idiotic, I'd call that canny.

My beef is they aren't performance paid. People who do far more important jobs are the lowest paid creatures in the Western world.

It's all wrong, it always has been and may always be so!
The very people working on the food production lines puttung food in thier mouths are the poorest payed people around.

George Orwell in a nut shell.
Give the masses the technology and the means to time travel and they'll either use it for putting bets on at the bookies then destroy them selves. (Notice the clever use of the word ("either").
Best to let the lynch mob have something to rant about really, much safer!

Wouldn't mind a job as a cleaner though so I could watch all the matches.

You'll always find some right intelligent cunts regardless of profession. Pretty sure there's a pornstar with a PhD (no, not "pretty huge dick" or "pure hairy divet") in some worthwhile pursuit who just decided they'd get more cash and fun through their other talents.

For the most part I'd say a lot of the better known footballers are dimwitted, which may be a personality trait that the best managers look for. It's harder to mould someone who has their own ideas.

Let me get this straight - you reckon the ones who get paid millions to run around kicking a bag of air in front of the people who pay those millions are the idiots?

I have some news for you, Einstein. And yes, it's pretty bad...

I couldn't care less how thick he is, as long as he performs on the pitch Laughing .

I presume he left his Porsche there when he flew over to sign his initial loan deal and has never returned to Spain since (he's just signed a permanent deal).

I don't know if you know much about Pennant, but he grew up the son of a smack dealer (his dad was 'stung' by undercover NOTW reporters a couple of years ago, still operating a smack den), was the first pro footballer to play whilst wearing an electronic tag and once got arrested for driving offences and gave his name as "Ashley Cole" Laughing . Despite his rough upbringing and dubious career decisions/discipline he seems to have settled down at Stoke and become quite the professional.

Cantona isn't stupid

and if you look at American football Mark Stepnowski isn't either

As for the current crop I don't know. They kick a ball around, they get paid a ridiculous amount of money, other than that I have zero interest.

LOL!

We come from all over the world.

It was a gloomy day for Man United
When the Bank Street had been lighted

For we held a bazaar
To raise money from afar

Newton Heath , as we were called
Had all its fans appaled

Bankruptcy was enveloping us
When our captains dog created fuss

Major , Harry Stafford's St Bernard
Barked loudly and hard

John Henry Davies opened his door
And his daughter liked the dog , she adored

Captain Harry met the rich guy
And encouraged him to buy

To pump 2000 pounds
And come over for rounds

At a club , a part of history
And so it was all glee

He changed the name to Man United
And the future was brightened

And so we are what we are
And we won so much

23 cunts actually. The ref is always a cunt, it's a requirement set by the FA.

Hahahaha! Cantona is advocating for everyone taking their money out of the banks. Yes yes, we all know the banks control the world etc etc blah blah blah whatever.

If everyone was to take their money out of the banks, the banking system would fail, and money as currency would be useless. There would be famine, disease and probably war.

He's a F*cking idiot.

On the other hand top level football is a billion pound industry, funded by all us plebs who pay to watch it, pay for the shirts and generally follow it and in some cases people build their lives around it.

Regardless of how irritating it is to see such young and in some cases undeserving men paid so much ultimately they are workers of their industry and they have made sure they get what the market thinks they are worth. Im sure the owners/shareholders of the clubs would love to pay their players less and profit more of the income but they know they would then never have decent enough players to compete.

I have often found £20 in a pair of jeans I forgot I had, I suppose it is all relative,

Ronaldo earnt 11.3 million last year, comparing our wages me forgeting about £20 in my jeans is akin to him forgetting about £6275, not quite a Porche but still. The only other thing I have forgot about owning is DVDs a few times I have bought a DVD I already own.
