Hi,
sorry if this is a bit basic

Ive got a MS Office disc with an activation code which i always use for laptops etc. I think its an unlimited thing? Can use it on any number of computers.
Anywho, ive got the disc, AND LOST THE CODE!! Sad
Any idea how to find the code from one of the other computers, or crack it?

So your trying to say that you have a version of office that Microsoft are happy for you to use on any amount of pc's? (silly us corporate people paying for a VLK/Volume licenses etc then .. We should all have one of this version)

Is it a trial and limited to a time period?

If not sounds like bull to me..

If your trying to get a dodgy copy just ask and you will be told to torrent.. simples

I got the disc from a company i used to work for for use on my laptop that i used for work.
Ive used it twice on my laptop (had a new hdd) Home pc, friends computer and sisters laptop. Im now wanting to put it on my replacemnt laptop before i get rid of my old one. I dont know alot about it, but as far as im aware, it doesnt expire, but there was a product key / activation code written down with it that ive had to type in each time. Ive managed to loose said code. Without the code, it only works in what appears to be trial mode for 30days, before expiring. Is there a way of finding this code from one of the other computers ive used the disc on?

handy for finding serial numbers on your pc. The free version will find your office 2007 (or earlier) key.

So its not unlimited .. your just using the license in an illegal way...

Well it seems to be unlimited to someone that isnt 'up' on this sort of thing. I have used it on different computers, without having to pay, just by typing this code in. It doesnt expire once this code is entered so that would imply unlimited to me? Ok, probably a bad choice of wording, but im trying to explain what ive got, what im after in terms that make sense to me! Be nice, i dont like technology! Anyways, this has served its purpose, i have found what im looking for, thanks to ajb for simply pointing me the right way, rather than piss taking Very Happy

bloody hell Colin take a chill pill.

Seems like a legit request to me. You get guys coming on here asking straight up for sources of pirated software and often they get direct responses.
Martay asks for some assistance locating the key already installed on his PC and you kane him.
I don't understand why you're taking this so personally.
