Those of us that saw the bike at RnB will definately choose the first option...but Zim has apparently put new fairing panels etc...

...but i can't comment about it's mechanical condition Rolling Eyes...

Very Happy

Well..... most of us know that Zim's bike has had a few 'prangs' in its past.... Confused

But show me a bike that has been 'properly used' that is still in immaculate condition Confused ...To be honest i think it would be hard to find one!

At least you know exactly what you are getting with Zims bike, as you would be aware what 'mishaps' it had been involved in.
In a way, its better to know about the bikes shady past, rather than buying a nice 'clean' bike...and then getting a shock further down the line.

After all, from what Zim says, all the broken little bits and bobs have been fixed up properly now. So the bike shouldn't be *too* bad. Cool

And even if you do get problems with it.... at least you know where to find the owner, so that you can give him a slap later down the line! Laughing

Vicky you should consider becoming a used car salesman, if you can make Zim's ZX sound respectable - you could sell anything Wink

Indeedy it is a good bike just needs the crankcase sorting, which he might have done by now.

New plate ZXR400 for sale, well used but I will knock the mileage back a few thousand miles if you like, well scrubbed in pilots, hole in crackcase fixed with that liquid metal stuff, had the fairings touching down on some corners, 'Sellotape' race replica paint job, custom levers all round, new shape blueflame can (only one in the world), good rear shock (it still works and podge was on the back all the way to RnB from London Laughing)

Sale due to loss of licence Laughing
