A lot of people have the same problem which could be related to industry standards in regards to HDMI which means that at this time various companies are utilizing the HDMI technology in different ways in terms of firmware and software.
When you switch the video input on the tv or maybe even switch the TV off and/or switch back to the conmputer, the computer shuts off the video output, or if you boot the pc with the tv off, and then after booted turn the tv on, there is no video output.
I would be tempted first to go to control panel to see if you can refresh the device or ask windows to relove the problem.
This could also be video card driver related.
This could also solve the issue!
With an hdmi switch box you can switch from PC to TV.
