One of those crappier riders (not us, 'cos we wouldn't qualify in the first place) could pootle round at the back knowing that at least two people probably won't finish the race and they'll get Championship points!

Agreed.. small grid again with still only 4 or 5 riders that have the bikes to win in the first place.
All the others will be well behind as usual.
