you may find riding without any will cause quite a bit of vibration in the bars.

bugger...

Sounds strange, the blade along with a fair few other Hondas has a semi fixed internal weight for the handlebar ends. They have a couple of prongs that locate in holes in the handlebar itself and they just don't fall out in fact they're a right pig to remove if you actually want to. You should just see the threaded barend fixing hole if you look into the open end of the bars.
Check the other side just to make sure you have the standard bar end type that has a step in it to locate on the internal bit so you don't was your money getting the wrong barend if they have been changed.

aye one end is there, the other end is totally missing, you can see a thread half way down the handlebar but no interior weight... managed to find a good site on how to remove them, and must have abeen a heck of a job for somebody to do, and theyve just left it without a bar end or no inner weight..

no wonder it was hard to steer..

although what i paid for the bike i cant grumble Smile

If you can see the internal M6 thread then the rest of the bar weight is there behind it, it's all in one piece with the threaded hole bit but you can't see the actual weight bit just by looking down the bars.
Bar weights don't affect the steering they just help to damp vibrations in the bars, you'll have to check the front end to find out what the steering problem is.

Remove the OEM bar weights from the bars, as described on the web site you found.
Buy some “universal” end weights, work out how much space the new end weights will take up inside the bars.
Cut the ends off the OEM bar weights to leave enough space to fit the new end weights inside the bars.
Put the OEM end weights back in the bars, put a slug of silicone into the bars and put the new end weights in place, the job is now done!
I did this on my CBR, no more vibrations, no problems since!
