As rob said. Post in the workshop section. Even if you dont know what exactly is wrong, sometimes just by discribing the symptoms people can help sort it out.
The CBT its best to bring your own gear if you have it. Most places supply gloves and helmets but if you have your own then you know where its been ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master

Hiya Joolz and welcome.
Take your own helmet and gloves with you if you have em .
I didn't have any kit of my own when I did my CBT and had to wear one of their helmets and a pair of skanky gloves miles to big for my Beadle hands |

Hi and.... ruh roh Raggy - Chinese-branded offroad-stylees have a poor reputation, and that's coming from someone who likes (some) Chinese-branded bikes. An engine change is surprising, as the 156/157FMI lumps in these bikes are generally the reliable bit. Keep an eye on: the frame for signs of fatigue or stress; broken bolts on the rear sprocket; loose bolts anywhere; the exhaust rotting away in short order.
Hopefully the electric problem is just a blown main fuse, bad battery earth or other noddy issue, but I would suggest that you don't spend much money on it. You could easily spend in excess of the purchase price and still end up with a bike that's worth less than what you paid for it.
And holy heck, a 34.5" seat for a 5'1" rider? You must be all leg
Definitely take your own gear. As part of the CBT, they should tell you never to lend or borrow a helmet... just before lending you a helmet.
Anyway, enjoy the CBT. It's training, not a test. If you've been on a bike at all, and have practiced hauling your TMEC around then you'll already be at the head of the class. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
