thought i'd give you my ten pennies worth, having riden spain and some of europe. last year I was fortunate to go to morocco with mick extance off road school as a a working holiday we put 18 crf450's and 250's on the back of a landrover courtesy of mr bowler himself (name drop)ferried and drove to morocco via spain I can only say I was filled with intrepidation as to the third world status, police hospitals etc all the usual fears from the rumour mill???and all seemed so,as was when we entered the border! once out of the border all was not as believed! there is abstract poverty don't get me wrong but happiness by the bucket load the people are welcoming and always interested and happy to see you, kids fascinated by your presence ,we set up camp near fes and awaited customers who were flying in ,long story short we then road bikes across country southwards going through and over some of the most stunning scenery and country I have seen from top of atlas mountains to deserts and sand dunes of the south the police were always happy and friendly as were the people there were no problems with fuel or amenities even if basic, road network is surprising good and being improved by every hour all in all superb,so go with organised trip there are a few .or chuck your bikes in a van with a few mates to save on ferry costs and have an adventure nicer to ride road and trail type bikes translap's xl's tenere's xt's etc just so you can go off the beaten track and see the off road bits stunning and there are many and no natzi police force hassling you like here in britain.freedom in the real sense rather than a rule book ,have a look at pic's from the trip on the facebook sister site under mick extance off road experience there is a link to the blogs from the trip somewhere and you can see for yourself ,heres to this years trip check website for details when finalised ADVENTURE ISN'T PAVED any questions happy to help
sorry about punctuation bit of a computer retard and struggling with keyboard which has been customised by my four year old and 1 year old ! so full of goo and various buttons missing or not working .............ever rode a bike up a two hundred foot sand ????....I now have...so why think about it ?get out there before your too old(that was nearly me) or we run out of petrol, see you on the sunny side |

I dont know what part of the country you were in, but i have been in and around Casablanca since the 28th of November 2010, i hate the place, litter, rubbish, rotten food rotting on the roads as the locals can not be bothered to put it into a bin, myopic pedestrians who will waltz across the road safe in the knowledge that if you hit them, its you the driver who will be neck deep in it, the worst driving standards i have ever seen anywhere in the world.
I was in the western sahara last year and granted it is a little better there, however the international news came no where close to reporting what really happened in Layoune last year, the guys who are working for me all come from Layoune, and i have heard first hand accounts of what really happened and seen the videos . ____________________ superchargers good |

didn't know anythin about the layonne thing don't pay much attention to world news generally propoganda for one side or other just had look online ?????not nice and I agree with the bad driving thing but after living and working in london for several years before i escaped I don't find it any more psychotic than there and the public any more or less brain dead, considering how little they have they are an awfull lot happier than the brits
didn't think you were having a dig
we all have different points and experiences some of my friends go to places like london and come back saying they liked it?what sort of f*(&*ked up sh^%t is that ......"we should nuke it from orbit "................."It's the only way to be sure" |
