We are currently offering motorcycle MOT's at £25 also there is a 10% discount for any items purchased at the time of the MOT if you mention This Forum. ring 01409 220357 to book.
We have been asked to add a google link so people can find us. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=ex21+5xb&oe=UTF-8&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Beaworthy+EX21+5XB,+United+Kingdom&gl=uk&ll=50.771968,-4.214458&spn=0.031917,0.069609&z=14
We are located in a small industrial estate in Halwill Junction, Beaworthy.
We are a not for profit company who uses the income from our workshop to help subsidize our moped loan scheme. This enables people in rural communities access to transport at a reduced rate.
We are hoping that by making these offers we can raise our profile within the biking community.

I've had about 200 MOTs on numerous bikes over the years and I don't think I've ever had a discount. I obviously go to the wrong places ____________________ The RXS100: vehicle of choice for Chuck Norris |

MOT fees are set by the Dept of Transport, but its up to the Garage what they actually charge. I think standard rate for a motorcycle is £29.50 at the mo, £45 or something for a car.
Was always told to avoid places that offered 'Cheap' MOT's as usually they were a loss leader to get punters through the door, and they'd use the opportunity of a 'fail' to drum up repair work......
Place I use for bikes charges standard rate. And doesn't take on repair work, so is pretty much 'straight'. Like the place I use for cars, they reckon on making their MOT money from getting the numbers through the door.
£5 off £30 is 15% discount, nothing to be sniffed at these days with 20% VAT!
And, given that for a motorcycle garage, this is the 'slack-season', when there's nothing much coming through the door..... no real reason to suggest this isn't an honest promo, and if you DO have a Test imminent...... well, in two or three months time, places will have thier apointment books full, as the March Hares all wheel the bikes out of the garage, blow the cobwebs off and optimistically stick them in for test.....
That fiver, 'saving' is the aprox value of two months ticket, if you divide regular £30 fee between 12 months.... so if your test is due in the next couple of months, may be worth sticking it in ahead of time, so you have more to sort any problems before it expires, and the March-Madness sees the apointment books filling up.... ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

Bargain! Bloke i use charges £31.50 but is brilliant. Go to him for all my mechanical ineptitude issues and never get screwed over. He even changed my gearbox on his dining room table whilst the shop was closed over xmas the other year, also when paying cash i get a 'discount'.
If anyone is in Cambridgeshire ill happily fill you in on who/where he is. ____________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OPv5mDPQ14

I happened to notice when passing yesterday that the Suzuki dealership in Port Talbot does MOT's for £25 - altho' it's not a branch that I've ever been to
Think I paid £28 at my regular garage in March '09 (PeeGee, Caerphilly), which means it's almost due again... so I've been keeping a look out for competitive prices ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

£20 for bikes at Staffs Test Centre in Hanley It's right next door to Bikerz. Always take bikes and car (£30) there, top lads.

£20, I ride 50 miles to Bristol to get it done but all the shops round here would fail it on a rip in the seat if they thought they'd get away with it, robbing cnuts ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse?
