Is there a crankcase breather hose on that bike (a rubber hose coming out of the engine casting just below the carb)?
They are often routed into the airbox and if any engine oil is 'breathed' out through it it lands up in the airbox giving the impression it is blowing oil back through the carb.
If a 4-stroke engine (like on that bike) was really spitting oil back through the carb it would be very sick indeed. Your question would have been "Why does my bike not start and make horrible grinding metal noises when I kick it over?"
If it has a breather hose make sure it isn't blocked or kinked. Also check you haven't overfilled it with oil. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
