I purchased this fine Yamaha Rxs100 yesterday. Very Happy
Now I have a choice in the morning, Honda or Yamaha? Red bike or blue bike? Laughing Rides lovely and for £699 with Mot it was a good find! It's almost mint condition. Thumbs UpMr. Green

I've had a couple of rxs100's in the past as field bikes, they are good fun and go like shit of a shovel when you take the baffel out (well compared to when it's in anyway) but is much louder.

Well, the RXS should be faster (H100 claimed top speed = 58, RXS = 72).

H100 better made though.

My H100 goes quite a bit faster than that Keith, I've had an indicated 75 out of it at least once*, and regularly rode it at 60-65.

Mind you my other half is quite a good mechanic any may have "tweaked" it a bit! Wink

All the same Cliff, it's got 12 months MOT and is taxed til 30/10 and I only want £300 for it Crying or Very sad .

*but that was downhill, and it was a very big hill Embarassed .

Could get mine round to around 60, but not really over that (ignoring going down hill). The reviews quoted 58mph, and as peak power was at 6500rpm but at 60 it was well past 8000rpm then there was not much more to come. They would easily go quicker if you could up the gearing a touch but the front sprocket is as big as will fit and the rear sprocket is as small as will fit.

Mind you I did once take it into the red and back out the other side. Going down hill in 4th gear.

I think that's what I was doing too...... Rolling Eyes

Mine wil cruise at 60 at about 7000, but revs to 9000 before redlining so there is a bit left. As I said though, my other half regularly services it & maintains it so I don't know if he's done anything, suppose I ought to ask him really!
