Nice bike. Did you not have an R6 before? What made you choose such a different style?

Hi
Long story about the tarty FZR, in the end he said that no one would appreaciate it as much as him :S.

Anyway, yeah i wanted something more user friendly for the winter, it goes pretty well and turns fine, its just more comfy, yeah top end power isnt there but theres plenty low down, I'm happy with it, and it'll be hreat for winter (heated grips) Very Happy.

Great bike mate Thumbs Up but then I'm biased 'cause that's what I ride - same model, colour and fairing-less! Very Happy

Cool. Now if I turn up at Stockley again I won't feel like the odd one out without a sports bike (and G).

So you still going to try and hang out with the blue R6 crowd? I don't thnk they'll be your friend anymore! Wink

Lovely little burners those Bandits. Always admired them, good for a thrash now and again. And not such a big worry like sport bikes.

Enjoy Thumbs Up

Nice bike, keep it clean if you're riding through the winter though. Friend of mine rode a bandit 12, a single british winter of commuting ~25 miles a day killed it (exhaust bracket rotting through and suchlike).

nearly bought a bandit 6 myself the other week, agreed a price with a numpty ebay seller, travelled a good 100 miles to get and it turned out to be a right bag of crap.

had a leaking fork (two day old MOT)
all the paintwork had faded pink from red (obviously, lol)
he had no v5 for the bike, exhaust had been welded and had numerous scuffs and scratches the seller failed to advertise or show, well with this i said no thanks, lol

good job i agreed a price and not won the auction

never again

bought a zxr400 in the end but will one day get a bandit as i love them, plus the fact you can never get bored of them especially in what you can do to them, the list is never ending

Hi

Nice one. Keep up with keeping it clean.

And save for the big bore kit (884cc I think).

All the best

Keith

Hi

Not sure on the newer shape ones. My 1200 Has a decent reserve. I get 45mpg (roughly) and manage around 140 miles before reserve, and over 180 miles total on a tank full. Not run out yet.

All the best

Keith

Still at least there's less plastic for you to break on the bandit. Thumbs Up
