Apologies to the spam police. I’m indeed one of the founders of this website that shall not be named in this post. The question was actually genuine. We released a motorcycle route planner one year ago and are trying to get more feedback from fellow riders. We’re a group of "motorcycle enthusiasts" and felt we could use our skills to contribute the biker community.

CaNsA - indeed the itinerary shown is shit. To be fair, the site displays a star rating of 0 for this route to indicate just that. We'll make it more explicit in the next version. We currently do not have coverage around Liverpool, hence the defaulting to google map. What’s the recommended itinerary? We’ll add it to the database. The site uses a combination of the roads stored in the database and google to connect them together.

Try Liverpool to Tywyn (Snowdonia), definitely some good roads in there

That's because the distance between Newcastle Upon Tyne and Sunderland is less than 30km. You need be bold and go bigger Jokes aside, we'll look into removing this limitation in the next version as it seems that you're not the only one being let down by this "feature".

Try your routes, which are connected by ferry to choose. It will be a long and arduous journey across the continent, since you have so many countries on the path. Therefore, it is good for a few hours and then drive aboard the ferry that will help you to relax and refuel before continuing your journey through the continent. In addition, it takes very less time in another country to achieve and connected most European ports as well as with the streets, you can easily drive to your destination.
