except for the fucking lose chippings everywhere! What is it, lose chipping season.

Round Berkshire Hampshire area, suddenly, looooooads of roads have had that bloody aweful gravel spread all over the road! I got showered by a passing white van man going the other way.

They are so dangerous, massive piles of the stuff, right in the middle of a bend!

I wish they would ban that road repairing method, it is just not safe. Even once the roads are bed in, there will be piles of that stuff in the middle sections for months!

I wouldn't call it a repair more of a bodge! Also when the council fill in pot holes and similar do they have any concept of the word 'level'. Surely if a repair is done properly you shouldn't know it is there when you ride over it, not be thrown off your seat.

/moan over.

Lots of gravel out on the roads at the moment, both dumped by the council and washed into the road by rain. Went over a huge line of the stuff (from rain) going round a corner, had to straight line it over the gravel then quickly turn b4 the verge..nice
