A quick question to those of you who buy/return lots of online shopping.

I bought a stebel nautilus ultra compact horn for my bike from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. Got the parcel and it's the massive standard stebel nautilus, far too big to fit on a bike.

Obviously I need to return it but who is responsible for the return postage and the postage costs for the correct item back out to me?

Also, when I checked on the 3rd party seller's website they don't even list the ultra compact so doubt they even stock them. If I want a refund rather than an exchange am I expected to pay the return delivery costs?

The thing weighs loads, return delivery wont be cheap and why should I be forced to pay it?

Thanks in advance Karma Thumbs Up .

Normally you pay the return postage and they should then send out the right item at no cost to you.

If they sent the wrong item its their responsibility to pay return postage. If you ordered the wrong item its your responsibility.

Info off the amazon returns site:

If you receive an item that is different to what was described, or that is clearly in worse condition than indicated, please contact your seller directly to report the defect or damage within 14 days of receiving the shipment. You should be able to reach an amicable agreement with one another. If necessary, you can return your item to the seller for a refund. If you need to return an item due to a fault on the part of the seller, you can request that the seller also reimburse you for return postage costs, however please bear in mind that the seller is only obliged to refund you the total cost of the order in these circumstances.
