Likely been parted but you never know. The scrotes may be daft enough to put it on Gumtree or eBay.

You could try putting it on www.stolenvehicledatabase.org as well.

[Edit] Sorry, it doesn't go without saying - I hope you get it back, and the vermin that took it lose a headbutting competition with a bollard.

Thanks Rogerborg, I've already put it on the stolen motorbike database.
And cheers CaNsA, I'm trying to make the whole blooming country aware of my bike, I am absolutely gutted and want it back.

I would think he could spot his own bike even if the cans had changed.

Sorry to hear that, your bike looked awesome Sad

Keep an eye out on eBay / Gumtree.

Sorry to bear potentially bad news, but be aware older bikes tend to be broken for parts, keep an eye out on eBay as well as bike forums.

Parts like the calipers / discs / exhausts / fairing are exactly the sort of bits that pop up on eBay, and in your case appear quite distinctive.

Was the bike parked on the street, or was it chained to a ground anchor in a garage? (The answer to this narrows down the potential type of thief, your average scrote won't bother with a bike that is chained up, whereas a pro will go tooled up).

I hope you get the bike back in 1 piece

EDIT:

Just read what you put, ignore some of the above.

If you have got any mods, list them; in particular desirable ones - Ohlins forks / shock, uprated brakes, power commander etc. It'll help if people know which bits to look out for.

I've been for an Ohlins shock for my SP1, but if I knew that the one I was looking at was stolen I wouldn't want it, and I suspect the same rings true for others, things like that do not come up often on eBay.
