Hi there, the exhaust on my bike is blowing slightly and im gonna replace it,

would this pipe invalidate my insurance

Yes it will, as said you would have to tell them about it etc and probably pay an increased premium. You'll also be riding otherwise than in accordance with your licence if you're 16 as with that pipe on your ped will do considerably faster than the design speed for a moped.

You do realise that you have to match your rollers and carbs jets to that exhaust otherwise the bike won't run right. As it's a 2010 bike you'll probably invalidate the warranty as well.

If your bike is 2010 why don't you get it done under warranty?

Il probably Wait untill im 17 in august then Smile a have a dt125 under a dust sheet in my garage, just 6 months to go Smile I dont wanna risk loosing my lisence

Bloody hell, someone with a sensible attitude Thumbs Up

Just think about it this way. That £79 quid you can put towards a new set of tyres / goodies or a top end rebuild for the DT.

Plus the DT will feel like a rocketship after a standard ped keeping you happy for longer.

Very Happy if breathing was illegal id stop, my bikes still fully restricted im happy with 35mph for now Smile I just though that pipe looked nice
