youtube account linking with google account

I now noticed that I can't log in youtube anymore without linking with google account. Is this same with you?

Yep Same here I tried everything but gave up in the end.

I just found this in the Account manager section :
Change the Google Account associated with this YouTube account to a different existing Google Account or to a brand new one

Looks like there's no choice but to have a Google account to use it log onto it

Thanks. I linked my account to google account created now.
I will not log in google account when I search!. I don't want to show my google search results in youtube related videos I'm not sure if this kind of things happens, but I won't test it on my account!

Yeah its a bit of a pain in the arse tbh, i setup a youtube account and did not realise i was logged into my google account so its not linked to the wrong account.
