Finding all of the bits will be a bit of a job, and building from a frame up will more than likely be more expensive than buying a shitter and tidying it up.

You could try getting it to a rolling chassis, then get a donor 750 and nick the engine from that and brak the rest for spares Thumbs Up

To be totally honest with you, for someone with as little experience as you that is jumping way too far into the deep end!

Find another NC30 that's a bit tatty and needs a bit of work then build that up and use it as a "practice" run if you will.

After a little while and a few of them you will most likely accrue the knowledge and skill needed to build a bike up from scratch.

Also, it would be rather expensive too due to all the parts you'd need.

TL;DR: Too much work for someone with little experience, do some smaller and easier projects first to build up your knowledge and skill bases so you will be ready to build from scratch. It will also cost a fair bit of cash.

HTH! Thumbs Up!

Gazza it's a fair enough idea but you're going about it backwards.

Start off with a complete bike, even if it needs work, and find a smallish one too because stripping a bike to it's components need s a lot of room and makes a lot of mess.

If you attempt what you are talking about you're going to end up with a huge pile of parts, many that are worn out or faulty, others you have two or three of you don't need, and you're going to be miising a lot of brackets and bolts that are made specific to the purpose.

No. It will probably cost you twice as much to build one from parts than to buy one.

My mate who is a mechanic bought a rvf which has only ever been used on a track and made it road legal and worthy, it took 18 months, £5k on parts and a load of work. It looks the balls now(carbon body kit and dream works paint job, hence 5k) but he could of bought one or 2.5k standard and ready to go. If he honest he lost heart half way through but had to finish it to prove veryone wrong.
