I want to get a lovely loud sounding exhaust for my hornet. My friend just got a micron slip on for his cbr600f and it sounds fantastic especially when it hits profile. It's not road legal however. Can anyone recommend such an exhaust for the hornet other than a micron?
Cheers.

Any of the cheaper cans all sound fairly the same, depends bike to bike on the sound, in theory the CBR600F should sound similar to the CB600 as they share most of an engine.

Only when you get to Yoshi's, Akra's and full systems will anything sound different.

I had a Micron and a double ended Scorpion. I preferred the sound of the Micron but the Scorpion looked better.

Beowulf! FTW!

seriously, I have had a beowulf for years on my bandit, and my mate had one on his hornet. Go for the full size if you want a deeper rumble, and the stubby for something a bit more high pitch.

They are loud, but not too loud. And they sound great with the road legal baffle in too.

Not sure about power gains, probably non-existent, but great for sound.

My boss has a Blue Flame Evo on his 02 Hornet.

I have a triangle version on my 03 636. His sounds louder when you start up, but maybe not when I rev my bike.

I had a carbon can co one on my hornet. Sounded nice but not too loud to annoy the neighbors or track day organisers.
